MODULA - High Efficiency Biomass Boiler
Avogadro Energy presents MODULA, the cutting-edge biomass boiler equipped with an advanced combustion system featuring an inclined moving grate. Designed to deliver maximum efficiency, MODULA can burn all types of fuel with moisture content up to 55%, offering flexibility that perfectly adapts to the needs of various industrial and commercial sectors.
The vertical configuration and spacious combustion chamber help minimize emissions, ensuring compliance well below regulatory standards. With MODULA, Avogadro Energy provides an ecological and reliable solution for those seeking high performance without compromising environmental standards.
MODULA's combustion chamber is designed with water-coated walls and insulated with refractory materials that resist flame temperatures up to 1200°C. This water layer not only reduces the thickness of the refractory material, extending its lifespan, but it also heats the combustion air, making it ideal for applications such as space heating or process water preheating.
MODULA ensures optimal performance and minimal maintenance, thanks to its vertical tube arrangement, which prevents residue formation. The automatic cleaning system prevents dust and deposits in the heat exchanger and combustion chamber, while the airtight and automatic ash removal system ensures efficient, uninterrupted operation.
MODULA is equipped with advanced combustion management software, tested on different types of materials. It quickly adapts to sudden fuel changes, ensuring safety in every situation with a redundant system that manages every contingency.
MODULA's design complies with reference standards: UNI EN 12953-10:2005, UNI EN 12952-12:2005, UNI EN 2014/68/EU, UNI EN 2006/42/CE, and UNI EN 18828, providing a cutting-edge and safe solution for diverse energy needs.

Biomass as a Fuel for Boilers: A Sustainable Solution
Biomass boilers are emerging as one of the most sustainable and eco-friendly solutions for both domestic and industrial heating. Using biomass as fuel not only reduces environmental impact but also offers an efficient and renewable way to produce heat. Below are various types of biomass fuels used in these boilers:
Wood Chips
Wood chips, made from the grinding of trees, branches, and logs, are a dense and energy-efficient fuel ideal for biomass boilers.
Pruning Waste
Derived from vineyard, orchard, and garden maintenance, pruning waste is a valuable resource for biomass boilers.
Poultry Manure
Dried poultry excrement is a highly energy-dense fuel, contributing to waste reduction and circular economy practices in agriculture.
Olive Pomace
Olive pomace, a byproduct of olive oil production, can be converted into pellets or briquettes for efficient storage and use in biomass boilers.
Sunflower Husk
Sunflower husks, a byproduct of sunflower seed production, can be compressed into pellets and used as fuel in biomass boilers.
Tree Bark
Tree bark, often discarded during wood processing, is a readily available biomass fuel, transforming waste into valuable energy.
Wood Dust and Treated Wood Waste
Wood dust and treated wood scraps from furniture and construction industries can be used as biomass fuel, reducing industrial waste.
Cocoa Shells
Cocoa shells, a byproduct of chocolate production, are an innovative and sustainable fuel, promoting sustainability in the food industry.
MODULA and biomass boilers offer a significant leap forward in creating sustainable, renewable, and efficient energy solutions for industries and businesses alike.
